So I've finally made a start 
I've posted an initial draft of the introduction on this site [choose books then The Zend Framework from the left hand navigation panel]. I am intending to flesh the book out with lots of useful tutorials, tips and tricks for getting the most out of the Zend Framework. I will be adding plenty of helpful links as well as I will be using it as my 'notebook' whilst I'm using the Zend Framework myself.
Feel free to post any comments however please note that all comments have to be approved first due to unwanted advertising spam I tend to get on this site [don't blame me, it's the spammers who force me to vet everything] so it may take a little time for it to appear.
I hope someone somewhere finds at least some of it useful.
